Following an initial career as a Highways Engineer with various County Councils, Peter studied architecture at Birmingham School of Architecture where he obtained a first class honours degree and an RIBA commendation for student of the year. He qualified as an architect in 1980.
From 1981 to 1990 Peter was a founding director of Glazzard Architects Co-operative practice in Worcester. From 1981 to 1990 Peter was a founding director of Glazzard Architects Co-operative practice in Worcester.
From 1990 to 2010 he has been a partner/ director in Lett + Sweetland Architects. From 1989 to 1993 he was a visiting tutor at Birmingham School of Architecture.
Peter was a member of the Worcester Conservation Advisory Committee for many years and is currently Chairman of Worcester Headway Trust.
