Rob is a founder member and director. He studied architecture at the Architectural Association School of Architecture and Darwin College, Cambridge, and has been a qualified architect since 1977.
During a spell in Helsinki in the early seventies he worked for Professor Jaakko Laapotti on the design of a new church for the town of Kouvola and a swimming pool in the city of Tampere.
From 1974 to 1981 he worked in London as a principal architect for the London Borough of Lewisham being responsible for the Sunderland Road / Church Rise housing development and Bellingham Community Centre – (an internal competition within department).
In 1981 he moved to join the Glazzard Architects Co-operative as a founding member.
From 1990 he has been a partner/director in Lett + Sweetland Architects and was a visiting tutor at Birmingham School of Architecture from 1998 to 2004
